Boys Will Be Boys

Jaron has become quite the little toddler. Always running. I don't think he really knows how to walk. He just runs. It's as if he can't get to where he wants to be fast enough. He is not quite 2 years old yet and he's talking all the time (not that we always knows what he's saying, but he's getting there), singing all the time and never stops moving until nap time or bed time. He exhausts me! But I love it. He cracks me up. Yesterday he was eating a cracker and saw that he had dropped some crumbs on the floor, so he ran into the kitchen, somehow got a washcloth and came back trying to clean it up. Every time I bring Abigail downstairs from her nap, he runs over to me, insists that I bend down so he can give her a kiss and when he hugs and kisses her, he gets so excited, he stiffens up and shakes. He loves his little sister. He still LOVES water and loves to be outside. He ALWAYS has a tune in his head. If there isn't music on, then he'll start singing a song. He tries so hard to communicate and doesn't fully know how to yet, so he'll fuss assuming that's how I'll figure out what he wants. I am constantly telling him to talk to Mommy instead of fuss. The problem is, he doesn't quite know how to talk to me. Eventually, I figure it out and I'll have to tell him what to say. We'll get through this. So he's growing up so fast. He turns 2 years old next month. I can't believe it! And he still has those wonderful, kissable cheeks!

Jaron covered in mud. He ate some and actually liked it!

You don't want to miss the big finish to this little video. Funny.

The video is hilarious! A face full of snow! I have the same communication issues with Kathryn. She is talking more and more everyday, but we still have plenty of times when she can't quite communicate to me what she wants, and so she fusses instead, until we eventually figure it out.
